I first made some for myself when I was 12. Mom was out shopping and I decided to experiment with .....cooking!!!! Yayyyyyyyy
I made a watery batter with corn flour and salt ... cried myself to death getting the onions cut to exact rings. I got the oil hot and put in the first batch in.
That was when the shit hit the fan!!!!!
The batter was too watery and splotched all over the frying pan... i had batter in my hair, my face and my dog was barking enough to get the neighbours wondering!!!!
My luck was as it always was!!!! Mom came back home and i was running helter skelter getting the kitchen cleaned and the putting the hot oil away.
